Pacific Hosts Back-to-Back High School Statewide Music Competitions

Pacific will host a high school chamber ensembles contest on Friday, April 26 and a high school musician solo competition on Saturday, April 27.

The Oregon Small Chamber Music Ensembles contest brings groups of talented high school musicians to campus for a statewide competition. The precise schedule has not yet been posted, but will be available at the OSAA website, with background information available at the Oregon Music Education site.

The Oregon Scholastic Activities Association solo competition takes place at scattered venues throughout the day around Pacific's Forest Grove campus. A precise schedule, when set, will be posted at the OSAA Solo Music website, with background at the Oregon Music Education site. The event is a showcase for some of Oregon's most talented young musicians in a supportive environment.
