Pacific Awards Tenure to Audiology Professor Dr. Marcin Wróblewski
Dr. Marcin Wróblewski, who teaches in Pacific University's School of Audiology, has been promoted to associate professor and awarded indefinite tenure.
Wróblewski, completed his graduate studies at the University of Iowa and Boys Town National Research Hospital, where he also worked as a research audiologist before joining Pacific University in 2017.
He has been engaged in auditory research since 2003, with a focus on identifying barriers to communication and strategies to help overcome them.
His research experience and expertise span the areas of the developmental effects of speech recognition in classrooms, psychoacoustics, auditory-evoked potentials, hearing aids and cochlear implants, middle ear and inner ear mechanics, auditory processing, and bilingualism.
He earned bachelor's degrees from the University of Białystok and Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, a master's degree in speech pathology and audiology from the University of Iowa, and a doctorate in audiology and a PhD from the University of Iowa.
