Nick Moshirian PharmD '21: 2021 Excellence in the Basic Sciences Award from the School of Pharmacy
Nick Moshirian PharmD '21 received a 2021 Excellence in the Basic Sciences Award from the Pacific University School of Pharmacy.
The award recognizes graduating students that have demonstrated interest in the basic sciences and have shown dedication to basic science research during enrollment at Pacific University.
At Pacific, Moshirian was the Industry Pharmacist Organization president of the local chapter, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Organization vice president, and a student ambassador. He also worked as a research assistant at the university. Moshirian graduated in May 2021 with a doctorate in pharmacy.
Fellow pharmacy student Ivana Wu '18, PharmD '21 is also a recipient of the award.
The Pacific University School of Pharmacy offers a three-year path to a doctor of pharmacy degree that prepares students to earn licensure to work in patient care. The school also offers a master of science in pharmaceutical sciences focused on research.
