Molly Young MA ’18, PsyD ’21: School of Graduate Psychology Research Excellence Award
Molly Young MA ’18, PsyD ’21 received the Research Excellence Award from the Pacific University School of Graduate Psychology’s doctor of psychology program.
Fellow student Æx Barr MA '18, PsyD '21 also received the award.
"Molly demonstrated excellence in research through all stages of their dissertation," professors said. "Their research serves as a valuable and scholarly contribution to the field of psychology."
Young, of Bellevue, Wash., earned a master of arts from the school in 2018 and graduated in August 2021 with a doctor of psychology, or PsyD.
Young works as anticipated post-doctoral psychologist resident at Portland Mental Health & Wellness.
The PsyD program at Pacific University offers a versatile degree program preparing doctoral level students for practice, teaching or research in clinical psychology. Students choose from five emphases within the generalist program, including adult, child, forensic, health, or neuropsychology, or the Sabiduría Latinx psychology emphasis.
