In Memory: Margaret Cooper '51

Margaret Cooper '51 passed away at home in University Place, WA on Sept. 27, 2019, at age 90. 

Cooper taught and served as a school librarian in Tacoma and Bethel school districts. During her time at Pacific, Margaret was a member of the Madrigal Singers and the Philo Trio. Her love of music carried on throughout her life, as she joined her church choir. Travel was also important to Cooper, as she took many trips to Hawaii, Europe and Mexico in her later years. 

Margaret is survived by her husband, Bernard Cooper '51; children Marian Johnson (Todd), Ellen Brown (Edwin), Jeanne Webb (Gary), Anne Cooper (Richard Barkosky), and Guy Cooper (Holly Nielsen); ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
