In Memory: Corrine Romero '50
Corrine V. Romero ’50 died Mar. 24, 2018, at age 89, after battling cancer. She was born and raised in Los Angeles until her family moved to Oregon, where she finished high school. She attended Pacific and met her future husband, Ernest F. Romero ’52, OD ’53. They married on Sept. 6, 1952 and raised three children together. She was an active member of PEO Chapter GC, an organization that provides scholarships to support women’s education locally and internationally. She loved gardening, attending performing arts, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister. She is survived by her brother, William (and Marge) Varitz; children, Claudia (and Wesley) Jones, Marguerite and Ernie; and an extended family.
