In Memory: Arthur Edwards

Arthur “Dick” Edwards died Dec. 1, 2016, at age 100. He established the Robert A. Edwards Scholarship for Pacific’s College of Optometry in the year 2000. He served aboard the USS Maryland for three years during World War II. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Eleanore; and a great-granddaughter. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Barbara; children, Susan (and Richard) Schwartz and Robert (and Billie); five step-children; five grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; and an extended family.
