In Memoriam: Sharon Rosen ’76

Sharon Rosen ’76, died on Oct. 4, 2022, at age 68. She was beloved by her family and community and will be dearly missed. Rosen was born in Los Angeles, Calif., and graduated from Rolling Hills High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Pacific University, and a master of arts in teaching with a specialty in music from Oregon State University. Rosen dedicated her life to instilling a love and appreciation of music in children. She taught music for 46 years, teaching in the Campbell Union School District for the last 28 years. Rosen also taught piano using the Suzuki Method from her home for 38 years.

Rosen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Higginbotham. She is survived by her daughter, June Berton (Mara); and her brothers, Lee Rosen (Linda) and Frank Rosen (Cheryl).
