In Memoriam: Jerrold Ross '66
Jerrold "Jerry" Ross '66 died on June 1, 2021 at age 77. He attended Washignton High School in Portland and interviewed Nobel award winning scientist Linus Pauling for the school newspaper. Ross served as an executive for the Boy Scouts of America for 11 years and worked as a State Farm Insurance agent for 18 years before retiring. He was deeply involved with the Knights of Columbus, several Catholic churches and many other organizations in Southwest Washington. Ross spent the last two decades living in Kalama, Wash. with his wife La'Nae.
Ross is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa Le'Nae; his four children and their spouses, Jowell, Donald, Steven, and Sarah; sister, Cheryl; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
