In Memoriam: Grazio Falzon

Grazio Falzon, Pacific Professor Emeritus, died Dec. 3, 2021, at age 88. Falzon was an associate professor of romance languages at Pacific University until 1993. He was a gifted teacher of the French language and literature. He was very proud of his long association with Pacific University.

After retiring, Falzon created a website about his native country, Malta. He published translations of Maltese poetry and a dictionary for English speakers visiting Malta. He also wrote poetry in Maltese and was a gifted painter.

Falzon is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith (Delater) Falzon '75, MAT '85; his son, David; and his daughter, Heidi.
