In Memoriam: Frank Brockway '51, OD '52

Frank Brockway '51, OD '52 died on Aug. 23, 2019 at age 100. During World War II, Brockway joined the Navy and was stationed in Seattle, Wash. After the war, he graduated with an optometry degree from Pacific and moved to California. While in Los Angeles, he provided pro bono optometry services until his retirement at age 93. 

Brockway is preceded in death by parents, Harvey and Beatrice; first wife, Annabelle; son, Frank; sister, Pearl; and brother, Leo. He is survived by son, Merle; second wife, Shirley Brockway '52; daughters, Ellen, Ann and Joan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
