In Memoriam: Dexter Amend '44

Dexter Amend '44 died July 10, 2021, at age 101. Amend completed medical school at the University of Oregon and served in Korea as a Marine Corps combat surgeon. Amend completed his internship and residency in urology at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in Charlotte, N.C. 

Amend was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Amend '45. He is survived by his children, Dexter II, Lynne, George, Harry, James and Robin; their spouses; and grandchildren.
