In Memoriam: Dan Vaughan ’95
Dan Vaughan ’95 died July 2, 2021, at age 51. A sociology major at Pacific, he was an avid reader of nature, animal life, fantasy and meditation, and enjoyed swimming. Vaughan was passionate about working for NAI Elliott Commercial Real Estate in Portland, Ore., where his coworkers became part of his extended family.
He will be remembered as a beautiful soul with a gentle heart. Vaughan taught in his quiet way to be curious about others, to pursue and understand their stories, and to accept life's gifts and struggles in order to become our best selves.
Vaughan is survived by his parents, Janine and Gary; brother Brian; and sister Julie.
