In Memoriam: Bill Alexander '64
Bill Alexander '64 died Sept. 17, 2021 at age 78. He met his wife, Peggy (Skarsten) Alexander '63 while singing in the choir at Pacific University. The couple went on to sing with various choirs traveling to East and West Germany, England, Scotland, and throughout the United States. Alexander owned and operated three One-Hour Martinizing dry cleaning businesses in Santa Barbara, Calif., for thirty years. He was a valued member of the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara and was a Paul Harris Fellow. Alexander also participated in the Santa Barbara Cosmopolitan Club.
Alexander is survived by his wife, Peggy; two daughters, Malinda and Melissa; and three grandchildren, Liam, Sydney and Hannah.
