Max Miura '79 Presented with Service Award

Max Miura ’79 was presented with the Oahu Interscholastic Association Official Service Award for his longtime involvement with wrestling. He was a former Pacific wrestler, and though an injury forced him to discontinue, it paved the way for his coaching career. Holding a bachelor’s degree in music education, Miura has taught at many different schools and recently retired after 33 years of teaching.
