Matthew Hunsinger Promoted to Full Professor
Matthew Hunsinger has been promoted to full professor at Pacific University.
Hunsinger teaches Social and Cognitive Psychology, Research Methods, and Statistics in the School of Graduate Psychology’s Applied Psychological Sciences master's program.
He earned his master of science in cognitive science at Illinois State University and his PhD in experimental social psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
His areas of research include mindfulness, the impact of meditation training, implicit bias, and predictors of conspiratorial thinking.
The non-tenure promotion in rank for faculty members is granted upon recommendation by college personnel committees and approval by the University Personnel Committee president.
