Leslie Schwartz MFA '12

Leslie Schwartz MFA ’12 is the author of two novels, Jumping the Green and Angels Crest. She published a best-selling memoir, The Lost Chapters, about incarceration and redemption. She has won several awards and fellowships throughout her writing career. She is a past president of the board of directors for PEN USA, and has published short stories, articles, essays, and book reviews for The Los Angeles Times, Poets & Writers, Teachers & Writers, and Sonora Review. She currently teaches privately in workshops and works as a freelance editor.
