Lauren Quinsland ’04, MAT ’05 Awarded the Public Service Award from the Oregon Peace Officer's Association
Lauren Quinsland ’04, MAT ’05 received the Public Service Award from the Oregon Peace Officer's Association (OPOA) for the crime prevention program that she has built. Her program partners with the Forest Grove Police Department and focuses on educating the public and organizing outreach programs, few of which include events hosted by Pacific. The OPOA is the largest law enforcement association in the state, annually recognizing officers who contribute above and beyond to community safety. This award is a tremendous honor in law enforcement, and even more so for Quinsland who is not a sworn officer.
