Kristin Nozawa MA ’18, PsyD ’21: School of Graduate Psychology Community Service Award
Kristin Nozawa MA ’18, PsyD ’21 received the Community Service Award from the Pacific University School of Graduate Psychology’s doctor of psychology program.
"Kristin demonstrated a keen awareness of community issues both locally and nationally, and was engaged in service to the school," professors said.
Nozawa, who is from Honolulu, Hawai‘i, graduated from Pacific University in August 2021 with a doctor of psychology, or PsyD, degree.
The PsyD program at Pacific University offers a versatile degree program preparing doctoral level students for practice, teaching or research in clinical psychology. Students choose from five emphases within the generalist program, including adult, child, forensic, health, or neuropsychology, or the Sabiduría Latinx psychology emphasis.
