Kerry Mandulak has been promoted to full professor at Pacific University.
Mandulak joined the Pacific University faculty 11 years ago in the inaugural year of the master’s degree program in speech-language pathology in the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD).
She has taught students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, collaborated on senior capstone projects with students in the CSD minor, and investigated the feasibility and outcomes of holistic review for graduate admissions in order to diversify the future CSD workforce.
She has served on University Council as the COE Faculty Chair, and will become the University Faculty Chair next year. She has also served in national leadership roles within the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), currently serves as the co-chair of the DEI committee for the Council on Academic Programs in Communication Sciences & Disorders (CAPCSD), and is an assistant editor for Teaching and Learning in CSD (TLCSD), the only SoTL journal in the field of CSD.
The non-tenure promotion in rank for faculty members is granted upon recommendation by college personnel committees and approval by the University Personnel Committee president.
