Kelly Garrett ’00 Publishes Second Novel in Mystery Series

Kelly Garrett ’00  is expected to publish Double Shot Death, written as Emmeline Duncan, on April 26, 2022.

It’s the second installment in the Ground Rules mystery series. Set against the familiar backdrop of the Portland coffee and food truck scene, Garrett’s series follows master barista Sage. This time, after a mysterious murder occurs in front of her food truck cart, Sage finds herself and her new business in danger.

The book was featured on the Powell’s Books website "From the Buyers’ Desk: Spring 2022" list, as well as a staff pick list.
