Keagan Weis ’21: Outstanding Contributions to Student Life

Keagan Weis '21 has received Pacific University’s award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Life.

Weis, who is from Lucerne Valley, Calif., majored in media arts at Pacific and also worked in Student Housing, Residence Life, and Admissions. 

“Consistently working to making others' experiences better, Keagan often reflects on what others need and how they can best be supported,” wrote her nominators. “This approach carries through to their multiple roles, whether helping students who call in with questions for the Housing Office, mentoring resident assistants through difficult situations, or presenting to parents and the Board of Trustees. Keagan is a bright light in what can be stressful working environments — especially during a pandemic.”

Fellow classmates Kiera Yap '21, Chika Matsumoto '21, Seema Khatcherian '21 and Jessica Monje Pérez '21 also received Outstanding Contribution to Student Life awards.
