Katinka Walker PharmD '21: 2021 Mission, Values and Vision Award from the School of Pharmacy
Katinka Walker PharmD '21 received the 2021 Mission, Vision and Values Award from the Pacific University School of Pharmacy.
Walker was nominated for the award because of her admirable commitment to integrity and inclusion. She worked as a student coordinator for the Center of Gender Equity and was an Operation HIV co-chair. Walker was also the recipient of the 2019 Rite Aid Endowed Scholarship Fund.
Walker graduated in May 2021 with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is one of three pharmacy graduates to receive the Mission, Vision and Values Award. The other awardees are Jennifer Buechel PharmD '21 and Graham Mortensen PharmD '21.
The Pacific University School of Pharmacy offers a three-year path to a doctor of pharmacy degree that prepares students to earn licensure to work in patient care. The school also offers a master of science in pharmaceutical sciences focused on research.
