The orientation team is looking to fill various paid and unpaid positions to help welcome students to Pacific University for Fall 2021. Application deadlines are March 29 and April 16. 2021 Orientation Program Assistant
This is a behind-the-scenes position that will allow you to assist with all the final details of orientation. There will be two programming assistants that will help all four coordinators with all orientations. This position requires two students who are willing to take direction from their peers (2021 coordinators) and supervisors, and maintain focus when under pressure.
Orientation program assistants will start working three weeks prior to orientation, usually around the first week of August. Assistants will be paid an $800 stipend for their work through August.

2021 Orientation Coordinator
The orientation coordinator is a dynamic and challenging leadership position that works with professional staff to coordinate and implement orientation which includes, freshman, parent & family, and transfer orientations. This team will be comprised of four students who will oversee all aspects of orientation. Each person will be assigned areas of responsibility within the bigger orientation picture, but not limited to one of the four specific orientations.
Orientation coordinator positions offer program involvement April through May 2021 and full‐time employment mid‐May through Sept.1, with some limited hours through September 2021. Coordinators will work closely and under supervision of the orientation leadership team. In addition, coordinators will work with orientation program assistants, new student Boxer ambassadors, Student Life, and Admissions staff, Voyages coordinators and the campus community. Coordinators will receive a $5,500 stipend.

2021 Orientation Boxer Ambassador
Orientation Boxer ambassador is a fun and dynamic volunteer leadership position. Boxer ambassadors assist in orienting new students to the Pacific environment. They share their experiences with incoming students and parents, and they network with staff and administrators.
The orientation ambassador positions are a great way for current students to continue to develop their leadership skills. Ambassadors are responsible for a pod of new students (approximately 20 students), guiding them through orientation activities and making sure the new students gain the knowledge that is essential for their success as they begin their journey as a Pacific student. Ambassadors work closely with their pod co‐leader as well as with fellow ambassadors, coordinators, program assistants, and professional staff.
Orientation Boxer ambassador applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, April 16.
