Halloween 2021 Events for Students

Students in Halloween costumesPacific University is hosting a variety of Halloween events for students this week.

Join the Resident Hall Association, Greek Life and Pacific University Clubs for fun and spine-chilling parties that are sure to get students in the supernatural spirit. Learn more about costume contests, vegan candy, zombie-themed parties, and more!

Bon Appétit is also celebrating the season with Halloween inspired sugar cookies and pumpkin treats this week.

  • Día de los Muertos Game Day | 11:30-noon Thursday, Oct. 28 | Join the MCCE for lotería and other opportunities to win prizes in a Día de los Muertos Game Day in Trombley Square. Lotería is a game of chance similar to bingo.
     
  • Spooky Application Assistance: Drop in Session | 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 | The Pacific University Graduate & Professional admissions team is here to help students with their applications to grad school. Drop by if you have any questions. 
     
  • Spooky Fuzzy Friends | RHA | 1:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 | Join the Residence Hall Association (RHA) in the MPR to create a spooky fuzzy friend.
     
  • Philosophy Halloween Party | 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 | The philosophy club hosts Aristot-skull party. There will be three costume contests, vegan candy, spooky drinks, and great company. Our theme involves anything "non-living" from vampires to zombies to past philosophers and more! All are welcome!
     
  • Baile de los Muertos | 8-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 | There will be a DJ playing Latinx music, snacks and drinks. Bring a friend and join this ALAS celebration!
     
  • Movie Night: Rocky Horror Picture Show | Delta Chi Delta | 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 | The Delta Chi Delta diaternity is hosting a The Rocky Horror Picture Show double feature. Games start at 8 p.m. and the movie starts at 9 p.m.
     
  • Boxers Haunted Mansion | 8:30-11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 | The Drama Club will be hosting the Boxers Haunted Mansion in the Black Box Theatre in Warner Hall. Admission is free.
