Google Quotas Coming in March
Like many other Google Workspace campuses across the country, changes in Google's pricing model means that Pacific will no longer offer unlimited file storage in Google Drive. The university will be implementing storage quotas for students, employees and alumni.
As of March 1, we will enforce a 50GB quota (including space used by Google Drive and Gmail) for all current students. If you are one of the small minority (less than 1%) of students who is using more than 50GB, your quota will be set just above what you are using now, and then we will reach out to you to set a reasonable timeline for getting under 50GB. When you graduate and become an alumni, your quota will be reduced to 10GB.
To see how much storage you are currently using, go to your Storage page. If you have questions, comments or concerns, please contact University Information Services at help@pacificu.edu.
