Get Ready for the New Moodle
Pacific University will be upgrading to a new version of Moodle, Pacific's primary learning management system, on the morning of Aug. 14. The system will offer a number of modernizations and overall improvements to the system, including an updated look and feel, and navigation improvements.

New Features
This will be major overhaul of Moodle. Check out the YouTube videos of some of the new features the university is particularly excited about.
- Bulk editing features
- Inserting activities and resources “inline.”
- Collapsible sections (in all course formats)

Upcoming Demonstrations and Workshops

Following the upgrade, the Center for Educational Technology and Curricular Innovation will provide two brief “overview” sessions to help faculty orient temselves to the new system.

Further Information
The Moodle upgrade will begin early in the morning of Aug. 14, and the university expects the system to be up by noon. We will provide more information about the update, so keep an eye on your Pacific e-mail for more announcements and resources.
