Food Service Steps Up to the Plate in Forest Grove, Hillsboro

The surest sign that food services in Forest Grove and Hillsboro are back to high gear: The pizza oven is in place and pizzas are sliding out like crispy wheels of contentment.

The Café in the UC on the Forest Grove Campus, now operated by Bon Appétit, will resume regular hours on Sunday, Aug. 25. The meal plan begins on Aug. 24.

Breakfast is served 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.; lunch, 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.; dinner, 5 - 8 p.m. On weekends, continental breakfast is served from 8 - 9:30 a.m., brunch, 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., and dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Dinner service ends Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 8 p.m.

The Forest Grove Market, which opened this week, also will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays and will operate from 2 - 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 2 p.m. - midnight on Sundays.

The Hillsboro Market operates 8 - 11 a.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

The Forest Grove Starbucks opens at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays and 9:30 a.m. on weekends. It will remain open into early evening.
