Finders Keepers Free Store is Seeking Donations of Reusable Goods

The Center for a Sustainable Society (CSS) will be opening a new free store behind Drake House this spring! To prepare for the grand opening, we are accepting donations of reusable goods from all, so that we may offer essentials for students, including clothing, cookware, dorm essentials, appliances, and more!

Finders Keepers is especially in need of the following items for the store itself (things we will be keeping):

  • Mirrors, especially full length ones
  • Storage boxes, especially clear ones
  • Containers and organizers for smaller things, especially clear ones
  • Shoe organizers
  • Book ends
  • Small picture frames
  • 1-2 portable heaters
  • 1-2 tall lamps
  • Fairy lights
  • Faux plants, especially ones we can hang from the ceiling
  • Label maker
  • Outdoor storage box or shed

Finders keepers is also accepting donations of items we think will be in high demand once we open the store. Find a list of these items here.

If you have any of these items, please put them on the Drake House Porch, or inside if the building is open. Do not put them in the garage yet!
