Final Canopy Supervisor Seminar Series Coming Next Month
Canopy, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider, will be presenting a their fourth and final live, VIRTUAL seminar for our Pacific University supervisors and managers. The first three seminars in this series were Supervisor Orientation to EAP, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Conflict Resolutions. Topic: Mental Health in the Workplace: A Manager’s Role
Description - This session is designed to increase awareness about mental health in the workplace and how to decrease stigma associated with getting help. Signs and symptoms of mental health, impact on the workplace, and first steps for getting well are provided. The role of a manager in establishing a supportive culture, early identification, encouraging employees to seek help and respectful treatment when returning to work will also be covered.
