Lunar New Year Dining Menu
Join Dining from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, in the University Center for a special menu! Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with noodles for a long life and egg rolls for good fortune.
AANHPI Lunar New Year Celebration
Join the university's Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) clubs at the UC from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, for the official student celebration of the Lunar New Year with performances, food, activities and prizes.
Free food is being offered for Pacific students and everyone is welcome to attend!
The dragon is one of 12 animals in the Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese zodiac. It is a popular symbol of good luck, prosperity, wisdom and wealth across many Asian cultures.
Schedule
- Lunar New Year will be held in the University Center (UC) from 5 to 9 p.m.
- Activity booths will be located upstairs in the UC Lounge from 5-6:30 p.m.
- Dinner service and performances will start at 7 p.m. in the MPR.
The Chinese Qilin Club is hosting this event in collaboration with the ACE Board and the Asian Pacific American Student Union, Vietnamese Student Association, Korea Club, French Club and the Black Student Union.
