ELC Celebrates Completion of Turf Project
The Early Learning Community (ELC) is running, twirling, and stretching its arms out wide after adding turf to the “elbow” of Berglund Hall.
Thanks to the community’s continued support and fundraising through events like our Fun Run, Gala & Auction, and individual donations, we were able to make a longtime vision become reality!
With the incredible leadership of Brandon Vuylsteke - an ELC dad - and some very generous in-kind donations from Landis & Landis Construction, we installed new turf adjacent to Berglund Hall. This creates a space for soccer, dodgeball, running, and more when the rains come and many of the open spaces on the Forest Grove campus fill with puddles and mud.
Looking for a nice place to take learning outside? When children are not using the elbow, we invite others to use this space for outdoor study sessions, picnics, and the like! All university partners are welcome to use this space; please help us keep it clean and in good condition for generations of ELC and Pacific students to come.
This project will make a huge difference to our students and teachers. We are so incredibly grateful to our community for contributing their skills, time, and resources to make this possible!
