The Board's role is to regulate the practice of physical therapy in Oregon, including establishing professional practice standards to ensure that physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are properly educated, hold valid licenses, practice within their scope of practice, and receive ongoing training throughout their careers. The Board also issues licenses, promulgates rules, monitors continuing education, investigates complaints, issues civil penalties for violations and may revoke, suspend or impose probation on a licensee or limit his/her practice. Dr. Reisch is one of eight board members and is joined by four other physical therapists, one physical therapist assistant and two public members. She is filling the position long held by previous School Director and Professor Emeritus, Dr. Richard Rutt.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Reisch on this wonderful professional service opportunity!
