Dr. Erin Bompiani, PT, DPT, PCS, Joins the Physical Therapy Faculty
The School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training welcomes its newest faculty member Dr. Erin Bompiani, PT, DPT, PCS to the Physical Therapy Program.
She obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Ohio State University and is a graduate of the pediatric physical therapy residency program at Oregon Health and Sciences University. Dr. Bompiani is a board certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist and has worked in multiple settings across pediatric physical therapy. Most recently, she worked at Shriners Hospitals for Children, Portland, in the Motion Analysis Center. A focus on private practice serving children and families in the natural environment, as well as a consultant with Columbia Regional Program providing support to therapist’s in school and early childhood settings, she is actively engaged with the pediatric physical therapy community locally and nationally and currently serves on the board for the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy as the Region I – Western (AK, CA, HI, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA) Director.
Dr. Bompiani has been assisting in the program as adjunct faculty for the past two years and excited to be expanding her role at Pacific. She will be teaching Pediatric Neuromuscular System: Examination & Interventions, assisting Physical Agents and Mechanical Modalities, and providing student advisement.
