Dr. Erin Bompiani Elected as the Director of Leadership Development

Dr. Erin Bompiani was elected to the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy’s new Board of Directors as the Director of Leadership Development. This is a new position for 2020 that will create new initiatives to build leadership capacity in members and APTA Pediatrics leaders consistent with APTA’s core leadership competencies. In this role, Dr. Bompiani will form and oversee two new committees: the Leadership Development Committee and the Volunteer Engagement Committee. She will also help grow the Student and New Professional Program to provide more resources and support specifically for students and new professionals. Dr. Bomiani will serve a three-year term through 2023 and will be eligible for re-election for one additional term.
