Dr. Chen and Students Presenting Research at APTA-Oregon Virtual Conference
Five physical therapy students from the class of 2022 and Tzurei Chen, PT, PhD, GCS will present their scholarship at the American Physical Therapy Association – Oregon 2021 Virtual Conference on Saturday, March 13, 2021. For this peer-reviewed conference, the research group prepared a poster and a video with a narrative. Dr. Chen and PT students, Sydney Neumann, Sara Tomlinson, Morgan Aase, Alyssa Louwagie and Anna Volk, will present their research and answer questions during the posters exposition portion of the conference.
APTA Oregon is a chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association which represents over 100,000 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students of physical therapy nationwide and more than 1,700 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students in the state of Oregon. APTA seeks to improve the health and quality of life of individuals in society by advancing physical therapist practice, education, and research, and by increasing the awareness and understanding of physical therapy's role in the nation's health care system.
