Pacific's Staff Senate is sponsoring a hot breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, vegan sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, and tea at the All-Staff Meeting on Wed, October 23. Join your colleagues and arrive any time after 8:30 a.m. for breakfast. The meeting starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 10:30 a.m. Registration for the breakfast is required.

Beginning October 7, Boxer ID cards will be required to enter most Hillsboro campus buildings.
Staff Senate will host their annual Halloween Costume Contest and Halloween Reception on Thursday, Oct. 31. Employees are invited for treats and to learn who the costume winners are from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both the Hillsboro and Forest Grove campuses. To participate in the costume contest, individuals and groups are required to submit a participation form no later than 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28. 
Safeway Pharmacy will be hosting a flu and COVID vaccine clinic on October 9 in the HC2 Student Lounge at the Hillsboro campus.
Frech's new book, "The Pearly Gates, 42 Brief Escapes," is a collection of short stories of diverse outdoor adventure, both here and abroad, with comments about climate change.
