COVID-19 Updates for Fall 2022
We are just days away from the beginning of the new academic year for many of our students and employees!
As more people return to Pacific’s campuses in the coming days, we are encouraged to see that COVID-19 community spread levels have returned to “low” in most of Pacific’s home counties.
If you experience symptoms, please take steps to protect your community, take care of yourself, and seek care.
- If you are experiencing symptoms of an airborne illness, including COVID-19, stay home until you are well. The CDC recommends five days of isolation (within your household, which includes residence hall rooms) for individuals who test positive for COVID-19.
- Employees: Datos, Pacific’s symptom monitoring system, remains available for all employees but is not required for daily symptom monitoring. Employees may use Datos to report an illness and receive specific instructions for when to stay home or return to work. Employees also may contact the Student & Employee Health Center or their primary care provider for guidance.
- Students: Students who are experiencing symptoms are encouraged to contact the Student & Employee Health Center for care. Some graduate and professional programs may instead continue to require Datos use for students to report illnesses. Please check with your individual program for expectations. The Symptom & Exposure Reporting Form is no longer required for undergraduate students.
We continue to ask that all students and employees monitor local community conditions, as well as their own health. For more details on Pacific’s Fall 2022 protocols, please review the COVID-19 webpages.
