Communication Sciences and Disorders Faculty to Present at National Convention
Faculty members Ellen Reuler, Rik Lemoncello, Kerry Mandulak, Eric Sanders, Amanda Stead, and newest member Peter Flipsen Jr., will be representing the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the ASHA Annual Convention in Chicago, Nov. 14-17, by giving 12 oral and poster presentations.
The CSD faculty will be presenting on multiple topics related to their own specific areas of interest and expertise.
One of the presentations will be highlighting the recent successful partnership with Cornell Estates, an assisted living facility in Hillsboro, where CSD graduate students were paired up with a resident of the facility to learn more about the process of normal aging, as well as have the opportunity to practice assessments of language, cognition, and swallowing.
The CSD program has welcomed its second cohort of graduate students for the Fall semester.
