College of Education Students Graduate in Eugene
Twenty-two students within Pacific University's College of Education celebrated the completion of their graduate degree programs with friends and family on Sunday, Dec. 16 at the college's annual December Commencement in Eugene.
The College of Education's fall 2012 class consists of eight early childhood/elementary education teaching graduates, one apiece in the elementary/middle school strand and special education, 13 secondary education teachers, four master of education graduates and one master of arts in education graduate.
A total of 28 students comprise the College of Education's Eugene 2012 class. Degrees will be officially conferred on Jan. 31, 2013.
Since launching a second teacher preparation site in Eugene 20 years ago, the College of Education has provided Oregon residents in the southern half of the state opportunities to earn teaching and other educator licenses.
Conveniently located downtown, Pacific's Eugene Campus offers an undergraduate degree in education and learning in addition to master of arts in teaching, master of arts in education and a master of education degree programs.
