Chief People Officer Helen Howell to Step Down

Our colleague, Helen Howell, Human Resources AVP and Chief People Officer, will be leaving Pacific University on April 7, to pursue a new position with Lewis and Clark College in Portland. Howell has become a highly valued and integral part of Pacific and it has been a privilege to have her in the role as the university's HR director and Chief People Officer. Please join Pacific in wishing her well and wishing her much success in her future endeavors.

Pacific is in the process of beginning a search for a permanent replacement for Howell. In the meantime, Shae Noble has agreed to step in as the Interim Human Resources director. She comes to the university, most recently from Adecco Group North America where she served as the Human Resources director. Noble also served previously as the head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging for Logitech. She has an extensive background in human resources, implementing new HR processes, and improving the employee experience. Please join us in welcoming Noble, who can be reached at shaeHR@pacificu.edu.
