Changes to Google Storage Coming for Alumni
A change will soon take place for alumni who use Pacific University Google accounts.
We are committed to keeping our promise to allow current Pacific University alumni to keep their university email accounts.
However, due to changes in Google's pricing model, Pacific can no longer offer unlimited storage for students, employees and alumni.
Beginning March 1, we will implement a 10GB quota for all alumni Google Workspace accounts, including Google Drive, Photos and Gmail.
If you currently use more than 10GB, your quota will be set just above what you are using now. You will need to remove information to bring your Pacific storage accounts under 10GB before July 1, 2023. We will reach out to suggest options for moving storage to other systems or a personal Gmail account.
To see how much storage you currently use, go to your Storage page.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact University Information Services at help@pacificu.edu.
