Center for Learning and Student Success Hiring Undergraduate Peer Tutors for 2023-2024

The Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS) is hiring undergraduate peer tutors in a variety of subject areas for the 2023-2024 academic year.

We are looking for students who are excited about helping their peers understand course content, learn effective problem-solving strategies, and improve their academic performance. Additional details:

• Federal work-study is welcome, but not required
• Flexible scheduling — work around your class schedule
• Must be available to work a minimum of three hours per week for both fall and spring terms

Please note that tutors are not expected to know everything or be content experts! A good grasp of course content is necessary, but some of the best peer tutors are students who may have struggled a bit with their courses but successfully learned how to problem-solve and improve their learning.
