Celebrate Lunar New Year 2024: Year of the Dragon

Join Pacific University's Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander clubs in celebrating Lunar New Year 2024!

It's the year of the dragon! The dragon is one of 12 animals in the Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese zodiac. It is a popular symbol of good luck, prosperity, wisdom and wealth across many Asian cultures.

Join us in the Washburne University Center (UC) from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, for a night of activities, free food, performances and prizes!

Schedule

  • Activity booths will be located upstairs in the UC Lounge from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Dinner service and performances will start at 7 p.m. in the MPR. (Free food for students!) 

The Chinese Qilin Club is hosting this event in collaboration with the ACE Board and the following clubs:

  • Asian Pacific American Student Union (APASU)
  • Vietnamese Student Association (VSA)
  • Korea Club
  • French Club
  • Black Student Union (BSU)
