Celebrate the Life of Lorelle Browning
Pacific University will host a public memorial service for Dr. Lorelle Browning, professor of English, who passed away in April.
The celebration of life will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at the Forest Grove United Church of Christ, 2032 College Way. It will be followed by a reception at Pacific’s University Center.
Browning died April 26 at her home in Manning, following a brief, unexpected illness. She had been a faculty member at Pacific since 1990, was the recipient of two U.S. Scholar Fulbright grants, and was considered the most renowned non-native expert on Vietnamese theatre.
All are invited to remember her life at the memorial service June 20.
