Boxer Women's Basketball Hosts NWC Tourney Game
The Pacific University women’s basketball team hosts George Fox for a Northwest Conference Tournament game on Thursday night.
The Boxers are in the tournament for the first time since 2009 and hosting a game for the first time since 1996.
Seeded No. 2, they host the Bruins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in the Stoller Center on the Forest Grove Campus. The winner of the game will go on to face either the Whitman Blues or the University of Puget Sound Loggers on Saturday.
Fans are invited to wear red as they come out to cheer for the Boxer women.
Boxer Athletics will host a pre-game celebration for alumni and friends at 5 p.m. in the Boxer Learning Center.
Tip-off is at 7 p.m. Game tickets are available at the door only. Tickets are $10 for reserved seating. General admission is $8 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, veterans and children under 12, and free for Pacific students and employees with a BoxerID.
