Boxer Love Story: Phillip Armstrong '93 and Janette (Padilla) Armstrong '95

Phillip and Janette met at Pacific University and are now married with children.

Janette recalls her first time seeing Phillip. It was his junior year, and he was a resident assistant along with one of his friends. Janette was on the floor with his friend, so Phillip asked his friend to set the two of them up on a date at the bowling alley. They hit it off at the bowling alley, and when it was time to go their separate ways, they had their first kiss.
