Boxer Love Story: Mark Westlund '71 and Alice (Wagnon) Westlund '73

Mark Westlund remembered the first day of school in 1969.

Mark was an upperclassman, so naturally he was checking out the freshmen “chicks.” That’s when Alice Wagnon walked by. He saw her and knew she was the “one.” It took him two years to get her, but they were together ever since.

Mark passed away in 2007 and Alice followed in 2010.
