Boxer Love Story: Aurora "Rae" (Salvador) Peters '65 and Clark "Rooster" Peters '65

Rae Salvador and Clark Rooster Peters met in speech class.

Rae had been announced as Phi Beta Tau’s “Sweetheart” and Clark was smitten by the beautiful girl from Hawai'i.

Their relationship was solidified one night outside of Walter Hall, when Clark asked Rae to accept his fraternity pin. Thankfully, she accepted it and kept it from then on.

Rae and Clark were married on June 11, 1965, shortly after graduation. They are still married. They have two children and five grandchildren.
