Boxer Giving Day 2023 Generates Strong Support for Pacific Students
Once again, the Boxer community generated strong support for student excellence during Pacific University's Boxer Giving Day 2023 campaign.
During the course of the 36-hour campaign on March 21-22, more than 640 Pacific faculty, staff, students, alumni, family and friends gave over $136,000 in support of scholarships, equity & diversity, research, student life, global education, and program excellence.
Thank you to everyone for your generous donations. If you missed Boxer Giving Day, you still have time to make a gift and change a student’s life!
Many generous donors set up matches for funds on the Leaderboard to leverage their gifts and encourage more donor engagement, including: the Pacific University President’s Global Education Fund, the College of Business Excellence Fund, the College of Arts & Sciences Excellence Fund, the College of Education Excellence Fund, the Office of Scholarship & Sponsored Projects Support Fund, the School of Dental Hygiene Studies Excellence Fund and the Pacific Annual Scholarship Fund. Two donors also successfully leveraged challenges to bring in more donors and support.
We reached our donor goal of 550 with five hours still remaining in the campaign — two hours earlier than last Boxer Giving Day — and kept the momentum going until the very end of the whirlwind campaign.
These gifts provide the greatest opportunity for students to access a Pacific education and persevere in their studies. By investing in scholarships, equity & diversity initiatives, research, global education, student life and program excellence on Boxer Giving Day, our Boxer community supports the future of Pacific students by creating a world of opportunities.
If you missed Boxer Giving Day, it’s not too late. Make a gift today and change a student’s life.
